Μάρκ ΜακΓκουαϊρ – ο ενίοτε κιθαριστής των Έμεραλντς υπήρξε ιδιαιτέρως μπι-ζι εν έτει 2011. Μια συλλογή ρεσουμέ – “A Young Person’s Guide To Mark McGuire” – μια συνεργασία με τους Trouble Books και μετά αυτό… Το “Get Lost”. Για να’μαι ειλικρινής, το περσινό “Living With Yourself” ήταν λίγο πιο εξαϊτιν’ (i liked your first album better κ’ετς…) αλλά όταν η επανάληψη αποτελεί μεγάλο κομμάτι της ομορφιάς τότες μάλλον συγχωρείσαι…
Τι έχουμε λοιπόν στο “Get Lost”?? Μπόλικη μούλτι-τρακ κιθαρούλα, νιου-έητζ στοιχεία κάργα (casio σύνθια κλπ), επαναλαμβανόμενα μοτίβα και μια προσευχή στο τρί-θεο Göttsching-Popol Vuh-Tangerine Dream κάθε βράδυ πριν πάμε για ύπνο. Όμορφα πράματα και ωραία. Το μόνο ερώτημα που γεννάται είναι το πως καταφέραμε να τον ξεχάσουμε το κύριο πέρσι…
